Life is for living, not merely surviving. I dont care if I wind up in a wheelchair, as long as I am doing something worthwhile at the time. Hell, I could wind up in a wheelchair simply by crossing the street. In fact, its far more likely for that to happen than for my bones to dissolve due to a couple of glasses of coke.

Besides, if you look hard enough, you'll find a study proving anything you like is bad for your health. Too much sex, not enough sex, tea, coffe, coke, water, you name it, some doctor has proved its bad for you. They've banned drugs because less than 1 in a million users experience side effects. They've banned drugs because, in a lab, if you feed 100 times the human dosage to a rat for years on end, it will get cancer more often than a rat fed on normal food. In short, these health risk reports very rarely mean anything to someone who uses something in moderation.

For a year, I drank nothing but Coca Cola. I was drinking 4+ liter a day. Then one day, I got horrible stomach pain.

I immediatly stoped drinking cola... for a week. Then the next glass I took after that week, the second it was down, I'd get stomach ache. I immediatly stoped drinking it again. Now it's been some months, and I only drink it every so often. Like at the theater for example, and I'm fine.

I don't know if you know, but it's actually hard to get something to drink that is not cola. Most fast food, pizzeria and other restaurant like that don't carry much of anything else. Same thing for theaters.
