Mexican Consumer Watchdogs have said that Colas like Pepsi and Coke are injurious to Health.

Caffeine (an ingredient in Colas), in addition to ''creating an addiction'', affects blood pressure, speeds up the heartbeat and provokes cerebral stimulation, doctors say.

There are other calcium deficiencies that drinking Colas may lead to. It effects out bones.

GOD SAVE MY BONES

Obviously sodas aren't that healthy. I mean, they don't actually have any nutrients... I think I'd worry about people that don't drink anything else but sodas, they drink cola instead of water. But I think that if you drink it in moderation, it's not that bad. If you think about it, all types of food are unhealthy if you eat too much of it.

Well, it is acidic. And bones are made of chalk.

Pfffft... almost everything is bad in one way or another, kinda lost interrest in that particular corner of science. An icecold glass of coke on a hot summerday is a gift from god. Bad for my bones ? Well that's too friggin bad then.

I have to agree that it probably only hurts those that drink sodas constantly.

REALLY?? you don't say! Why else would people drink coffee (if caffeine didn't do that)? LMAO, a round of applause for this most astute research!

Also, nicely put johnny :D

I'm telling you. First cigarettes, then coffee. Then soda, then sugar. Keep giving up your freedoms, people, it makes governments happy.

Funny that they didn't mention renal failure, another common problem for those constant soda drinkers who don't get enough water.

Ah well, as long as they keep their investigations away from my beer, i couldn't care less. It can be bad for your bones to talk trash about my beer. :D

Yeah TL... taking the cigarette example again...I understand that it costs governments millions in healthcare to deal with the results of smoking, but they should simply establish the cost of the care and if an illness is due to smoking, the patient should pay. THey could make a smoker's insurance :D At least then people'd be free to choose if they wanna smoke but will have to deal with the consequences, that's fair.
