. . . Mostly from Chapter 2/3, but a few from late game. . . . Not even Suna Seni? Bodhi? Phaere, if given the chance? And what about the Shade Lord that possesses Merella, hmm? ![]() I wonder why Minsc never has any dialogues with courtesans and the like, other than "gee, guess I'll be going now..." I can understand Keldorn, and Anomen if you happen to be romancing him, and I've never kept Jan or Korgan long enough to find out, but why not Minsc? (I will not think about the hamster. I will not think about the hamster...)

How about this:
Every time a female is struck in the so-called 'specialties', there is a 25 % chance there will occur a Wail of the Banshee.. Seems fair to me ![]()

Then it must be the Wail that will affect everybody, both enemies and party members, except the wailing injured female
The nutcrasher idea is great

Back when I was a fencer, I once (quite accidentally) struck an oppenent inna fork with a fencing sabre. Believe me, he was stunned for a lot more than two rounds (and I was mortified).
If Minsc hit somebody in that critical a spot with a flanged mace, he wouldn't just suffer a morale failure, he'd suffer a life failure. Guaranteed. Okay, I know it's a game, and the idea is more for fun than anything. I do think the item upgrade should require a quest-specific ingredient, though. Otherwise, it's just a by-product of playing the game. Maybe you could have some special kind of "nuts" found only in one of the three "new" areas reachable in ch 6? I always thought they were rather bland areas, anyway. Unfortunately, this will mean Minsc can't upgrade his mace before ch 6, but then no other weapon can be, either. -- Mal

I like the idea, but it shouldn't be available off the bat. Also, 1d8+2 is quite a lot for base damage. 1d8+5 is technically more powerful physically than the CF.
