We have 3 Rit/Rangers in our guild & they seem to be very good support characters and with a pet for extra protection. We do alot of AB (allience battles) and the Rt/R seem to kick but not only do the heal and rez they can switch profession skills to runner when needed, also as a trapper with a supprise zap.
As of yet I havent seen the Rt/R with any write up on Wiki but it's a new build with a twist and a very nice addition to any team.

T-D-C, could you better define "clear out Factions" 'cause I have three girls who are in the Echovald - Jade Sea area who need to continue and/or explore some more.

I haven't declared for a side yet, but if you want to just explore the Sea or Echovald in general, give me a shout. (Lili Birchflower or Teva Daracha - 2nd acct)

Sorry, Boz. Was finally in a group that looked like it might gain Masters in Tahnnaki (the only one my ele doesn't have Masters yet up to declaring myself "friend") -- and I was hit with such horrid lag that I completely missed an entire battle before I err=007 out. Grrrrrr.

Maybe I should just concentrate on clearing map with the other girls for the time being.

EDIT: Finally! Got in a team that worked well. Made Masters in 18:16. My ele is a very happy camper indeed. Now to decide which side to declare for so I can do the final 5 missions ..........

(Yes, I am that close in faction amount. I did the unthinkable and kept faction relatively close for both so I could choose armor types for different classes if I wanted. Now there's no one else I really want Kurzick or Luxon armor for at this point.)

I beet the Factions game on the Luxon side and then Raisu Palace and finally got to fight Shiro at the Imperial Sanctum. Final Killing of Shiro took 47 seconds.

A little known secret about beating Shiro:

The Trick is just that (Beeting Shiro) And your intire group needs to grab Melay weapons and ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK do not stop hitting him from the time you reach him up to the point he drops dead and the cut seen starts. The more warriors you have in the group the better. DON'T use healing spells he will absorb the healing (Hes a Ghost God). Have Monks Only use smite spells, Necromancers Touch Hex spells and there Staffs and wands & Rangers' Use your best Vampiric Bow and use Interupt Skills.

The first 3 Groups I was with all died because they kept stopping and healing or at least trying to heal. Thats when Shiro will use a transport skill against you and send you to anouther Zone.
If you get sent to this zone you'll need to run to the top of the hill through all his ghoastly Minnions to reach a portal that brings you back to the fight, if anyone else is still living when you get there.

Just remember the faster you Attack and Bash the quicker he dies. DON'T LET UP ON HIM for a second.

Good luck!!!

TCB

I don't recall ANYTHING about Shiro absorbing your healing spells.

His Meditation of the reaper if it activates will make him absorbe all damamge and then steal 20 health from everyone for each second it was activated.

The teleport happens almost (but not quite automatically) on whoever is the 2nd person to attack Shiro.

Using warriors is very effective because their special skill is multiplied the more people are about the target (so 3-4 warriors trpping off the special skilland everyone else packing around is a massive multiplication of damage). Works even better if the tanks configure as W/Me so they can echo the special skill

Yeah If I can get my warrior up to Shiro then she would switch over to W/ME to echo that Storm of Swords skill I think its called.
