I've finally decided to start playing Factions, lol. Well, my Necro in Tyria is now a Protector, and I've got every Necro elite for him...I'd just been farming so it was a good time to leave him. My monk is progressing through the game, but the beauty of this game is I can always go back can't I?
Anyway, I want to start in Cantha with either an Assasain or a Ritualist. So, I want to know of the people who play Factions, which Primary/Secondary to go with. I've read up on both, and they both sound good. So what do you guys think? I'll be doing the whole PvE thing first....Do either the Ritualist or the Assasain struggle to get into PvE groups like the Mesmer in Prophecies? (Wrongly so, I think Mesmers can be awesome ) Anyway, I've read up and can't decide. They all sound good, so I need some help! So whatever the theme here seems to be is what I'm gonna go with. So please, let me know what you think my primary and secondary should be.

Already spoke to you in game so.
For an Assassin the better builds are A/W, A/Mo or A/Me For a Rit I have gone A/Mo but secondary doesn't matter. For rits most builds revolve around Ritual Lord an Elite that you get in late game.

'Sins have a really hard time getting in random PuGs sometimes because there's sooo many of them (and so many of those are absolutely horrible). Too many play their 'sins as kamikaze tank-wanna-bes...... But assassin can be a really strong profession. I like A/R, critical bowsman (don't care for barrage, tho). You can pull awesome damage with the combination and have good self-heal (which will help you get in groups as well as stay alive
![]() Ritualists have an easier time getting into PuGs, especially if you're a restoration rit. My son has a rit/nec who obtained the Survivor title (legit, no mapping out) using spirits and minions in a highly effective manner. I think that if I decide to resurrect my rit, I want to go channeling.

Well it will arrive tomorrow, and I can't decide.
My first char is a N/Mo and my 2nd was a Mo/Me. So I wanna try and steer away from any of those I think. I do fancy both classes, but really can't decide. Leaning towards ritualist, I think it's definately gonna go that way, but no idea what I should have as secondary.

Well, if you only do all the choose-your-secondary quests, you'll be about lvl 10 before you have to worry about it
![]() And once you become Weh No Su (Canthan Ascended), you can always change.

I'm either down to Rit/Me or Rit/Ra. One or the other.

I have a level 6 or so rit/necro that's been sitting there for ages because no one want to help me out with the low level quests and missions. I plan to use her more as an attack rit, but I'm getting the restauration skills for missions when necessary.

I may pop in GW for a bit in a few minutes.
Y'all put Lili Birchflower and Teva Daracha on your friends list. Teva is on my oldest son's acct and I don't play her much (altho did on Sat), but Lili is the mainstay of my account and I can be reached if that acct is online.

The Shadowsworn are getting together over the next few weeks to clear out Factions and finish the game on a few of our characters.
Feel free to PM any of us ingame we would be more than happy to help out.
