I felt awful when I did something like that. I was compelled to reload and do what my conscience bade me to do. There were only two occasions when I nuked all the chickens.

1) I had an evil party.

2) My Sorcerer tried to melee a chicken with fists and was getting trashed.

I may speak of powergaming tactics often, but deep down inside, I am a roleplayer at heart. Just because I know a powergaming tactic, does not mean I actually use it.

Yes, a pity. It kills the reality of the game.
I was pleasantly surprised when it didn't work in gnome town. The mayor detected I had it and got angry.

Here's the screenshot.

Honestly, I had more great moments just fooling around than powergaming all the way.

Same here, but, hey -- Having Fun > Roleplaying. If i find something to be fun, and its fun factor outweighs the roleplaying damage, then, hell yeah, i'll do it! I really hate analyzing abstract ideas such as "fun" and "feeling of roleplaying" like this, but you get my drift.

Oh, and by the way... where's the powergaming aspect in fireballing the cr@p out of a chicken?

None really, but it will goes against my conscience in my case that is. If others want to do it for the fun of it, then by all means do it, but it will take special circumstances for me to do it.

It is true that fun is a fuzzy concept. Frell, I still laugh maniacally at the thought of the Bunny Nuke Tactic( spinoff of the Area Nuke Tactic). I guess what I am trying to say is, is that I try to roleplay as much as possible. Sometimes people do label me as some sort of powergaming freak, and it stings when I read that, because that is just not me.

[SPAM]Heh... I live in the countryside, and there's a huge henhouse not far away from my house. The "older" boys sometimes grab a chicken or two while nobody's looking, and we have a barbecue... so "fireballing" a chicken doesn't really fret me. [/SPAM]
