Any idea where I can grab one of these from in C2?

I am in Athkatla and don't want to go too far, any in the local area or available on a quick quest?

try the usual sources, ie copper coronet, adventurers mart, thief's house where you start chapter 2, Roger the fence in the temple sewers, or the two thieves' guilds in the docks district. one of them should have it.

I've tried all of these already:

copper coronet - no joy
adventurers mart - well, at least I got the ring of regeneration
thief's house where you start chapter 2 - Gaelen and his buddy don't have one
roger the fence in the temple sewers - Stolen everything from his shop, no joy
the two thieves' guilds in the docks district - nope. got a nice shortsword of backstabbing though [img]smile.gif[/img]

Soooooooo... any other ideas?

You get a RoP +2 from Gaelen along with an amulet of power when you begin applying for the shadow thiefs aid.

Umm....I think you mean you get it from Aaron Linvail ;)

But that would put me onto chapter 3... are there any on chapter 2?

You can quite safely start Chap 3 without affecting most quests in Chap 2. You should however finish all quests in the Graveyard district first or else the plot line would cause you to miss out on quite a few quests there.

The RoP+2 that Aran Linvail has is the only one in SoA.

Moving on to Chapter 3 will have no effect on the Graveyard District, as far as I know. The map doesn't change until Chapter 6, and even then the "Southern Dungeons" (Korgan's & Edwin's quests) and Pai'Na's room are left untouched.

Sadly, like six said, theres only one :( . but! moving from ch. 2 to 3 wont affect anything. just make sure you got 15000 gold

But hey.. could you maybe pickpocket one from aran first? WOULD be nice to have two of em..
