Gabriel: if nothing else, read it as if it were a grown up "Hansel and Grethel"...two people lost in the woods, any woods, especially the forests of a difficult relationship.

well well well...

Last Push

I have shattered before me
So many times I have lost count
I try to mend my broken self
I am giving my last push

My comrades have already deserted me
My shards have cut them
So many time that we have lost count
They ran out of blood to go on

My black blood has been purified
By the Pulse of Life
I gain strength once more... Finally
But my friends are recovering, cannot move on

It seems a little late
For this effort of mine
And I have wasted
their blood for naught.

thats toward on the happy side... a little.

i love that Haiku... it makes me wanna write love poems... teehee

Wow, Bahamut, that's good! It reminded me a little of BOC's "Veteran of the Psychic Wars." I liked it!

I am Sazerac: Warlock/Barbarian, moderator of the Wizardry 8 board (just getting started up), and veteran poster at Wizards & Warriors forum. I'm just getting started here at General Discussions, but its a lot of fun!

I will check out the story thread. And, hopefully, will have something to add.
