Personally, I see no inherent cheese in the Celestial Fury+5 that wasn't already in the CF+3. Personally, I see no reason why the sword forces you to Save vs. Stun on every hit--why not just 50%, 33%, or 25%?

The acidic backlash ability of the Sanchuudoku is, in it's original form, far more than just a green fireshield. While a normal fireshield will only return fire if you're hit within melee range by a physical weapon, the acidic backlash will strike your opponent regardless of how, when, or from where he damaged you. Try it vs Beholders or Gauths, they go down very fast. Or how about enemy mages, a magic missile cast in your general direction would cause five acid arrows to fly back to the caster.

Truly one of the cheesiest effects in the game IMHO. Though it is otherwise a very cool weapon with added convenience of being able to not only damage everything in the game, but damage them good! That's why I simply removed the acidic backlash and toned down the regen in my game, and happily continue to use it

A weapon that had a 50% chance of stunning without save every hit? HOLY SHT!!

If CF's Stun ability was changed from a 100%-Save-Or-Else ability to a XX%-No-Save ability, It'd have to be at the very least 10%, or even less, to make it somewhat balanced.
I never said that there should be no chance to Save, in fact I said just the opposite. Currently, the CF+3 and CF+5 force you to Save vs. Spells on every hit, or become Stunned. I would edit the CF so that only 1/3rd of the hits must force you to Save vs. the Stun.

I think removing the Acidic Backlash and toning down the Regeneration on the Sanchuudoku is a great way of "de-cheesing" the weapon, by the way. To what did you adjust the Regeneration rate?
Sorry then, must've been that "force you to save" phrase I missunderstood

I lowered the Regen rate to 1HP every three seconds, comparable to Ring of Gaxx and some other regen items as well I think.
