A "MINI-TAUR"!

6-8" horns, hooves on rear legs like a minotaur.
Gullible and flatulent like a gnome.
Can taunt and swear like a halfling on a bender.
Oh, BTW, since I am conjuring, little flaps of skin between fingers, toes, and under arms for greater distance.

The Ultimate Thrower!!!

ROTFLMAO !!!

OK, I feel better now...

(you know, one day I'm gonna start a thread on the most outrageous, ROTFLMA abbreviations... but, that's for another day.)

OK, everyone. Let's throw some little people !!! (and Dark Dwarves only for BladeMistress)

I don't care now RudeDawg if they are regular Dwarfs. Because Kors is the only one left out of his entire clan.

I meant to ask you about that, BladeMistress.

Are you going to post a full story on Kors on your webstite? I'd like to read it, you have a lot of background in the Worlds, I'd like to see some of your fan-fic.

Now, back to the subject:
Let's throw some Dwarves!

Well, if you survived the flame war in mid-thread, then you have made it to the end...

I have one point to make concerning the fine art of the Tossing of Little People. Unless I am badly mistaken, you would normally be forced to use whatever Small Person was at hand when you ran into the enemy, correct? So this would restrict you to flinging about members of your own party.

Bearing this in mind, and assuming that the onrushing enemies are so nasty that you are forced to resort to Body Bowling (with live ball & pins) rather than normal fighting, you will probably choose from a Dwarven Fighter or perhaps a Thief of Halfling or Gnomish descent.

This rather eliminates the possibility of launching Dark Dwarves from the nearest catapult unless, of course, your group of adventurers happens to be of evil alignment (contains a Dark Dwarf or two) or you are busily plumbing the depths of the Underdark (and collecting ammunition as you go). In either of these cases, the Dark Dwarves can be readily substituted for the more ordinary variety.

Oooooooh! Someone's reviving this thread!

Nice idea with the body bowling, except that you can't use a spiked "ball" since it's spikes will get stuck in the ground.

How about using ballistas to launch elves at your foes?

Naw, I believe that ballistas would work better with the aforementioned minitaurs (as the horns could lead the way & inflict MAJOR trauma to the unfortunate recipient), or even a dwarf with an extra-spiky helmet, perhaps...

In fact, upon consideration, I believe that a ballista would actually be the prefered method of minitaur launching, as this would practically guarantee that the unfortunate launchee arrived "horns first" and would therefore maximize the damage on impact.

Anyone else find this thread (minus the blatant off-topic flame war, anyway) to be as downright hilarius as me?
