Remark: here in Italy it's cops who do stupid things, not blondes as in the USA...hope my translation wasn't too bad.

Two cops are talking about their hobbies:
"You know, when I am home at evening and I have nothing better to do, I like jigsaw puzzles"
"Puzzles? what are those?"
"Oh, it's a series of scrambled tiny pieces which fit together. you must match them exactly and a picture will come out"
"Oh, sounds interesting...I'll try it"
Some time later:
"Well, I have tried those jigsaw puzzles, but I couldn't accomlish nothing: those yellow pieces don't fit"
"yellow pieces??? what kind of puzzle did you buy???"
"I don't know. On the box it says Kellogg's Corn Flakes"

My friends and I once had the oportunity or rather the misfortune of riding in the back seat of a police patrol car in Roma, Italy. The cops were driving so fast weaving through the narrow streets that one of my friends nearly got carsick. Apart from the car ride, the officers were curtious and helpful and it was definitely a cool experience.

I guess fast driving isn't such a strange thing in Italy... unlike in the USA speed limits are there for show.
Anyway I am not saying cops are dumb, I am saying jokes depict them as such

My only run in with the law was when an MP found out the 3 on my lisence plate was an 8 that had been cut in half by a very lazy plate manufacturer...

They probably didn't care.
