Mad

Hey fellow RPGgamers...I am just tearing out my sparse hairdo in despair over Legends of Arana...I love the game ( not like NWN...but still good )but I hate those rare sets of equipment...because I always need to find them...hmprf!

Anyway...I was wondering if anyone knows if they occur by random spawning or if these items can be found at predefined locations...in that case I need some MAJOR SPOIL on the items called "air of illicor" for my nature mage...heh heh

Anyway...IW ROCKS!!!

It can be found on fixed location.

Illicor's Ring - It can be found in Halls of the Lost.Go past a huge room, go through the door to your right and look for levers on the wall.

Illicor's Amulet - It's found in the Dark Jungle on top of one of the temples, after you pass the bridge.

Illicor's Beaded Hauberk - found in Mountain of the Dead. You may need to search every nook and cranny cause you'll easily missed this one.

Illicor's Staff - It can be found in Jherkal's Crown in one of the rooms.

Illicor's Spellbook - can be found in Kmethket Tower. search every nook and cranny too.

If you've got one of the camera mods installed, it helps to go down to ground level to spot the lever (to get the ring) and to get the spellbook, which I walked right by a couple times

Is it just me or is it way too easy to get all of the Arhok's Lot items?

Firestormalpha....

It IS easy to get Arhoks lot...but then again they aren´t THAT powerful....in fact I only equip them as a courtesy to my old folks who let me the shait *LoL*

and thanx

Two more questions...
Do I get access to set items and new spells in the original campaign too?
Are there any other sets out there than Arhoks lot and air of illicor?

eyup, Kit of Kajj, Patents of the Inventor, Demlock's Compendium, Clockwork Posture can be found in LoA. I don't know about the original campaign though.

I'm pretty sure the set items don't randomly spawn (is that the right verb? ) -- note that in LoA they're in fixed locations -- so they won't show up in the original campaign.
