I am playing as an evil character and rescued this Noblewoman in the Bridge district from a red-robed man who had been burying people in the cemetary. I decided that I would try and accept the ransom money so I went outside the copper coronet at night (as described in a letter I found) but no-one was there to pick up the cash. WHat's happened? Am I supposed to do something else?

Look for a nobleman. There are 2 entrances to the Copper Coronet, the nobleman is at the lower left one.

Actually I have had the same problem also. I have gone through the area all around the Copper Coronet to no avail. I've even waited a whole day and tried again but no one but peasants are there.
