Of course I thought it would be impossible in BG2 and I could do that. What strategies do you employ. If your a faerie ninja what do you do pre CoC?

I think I might try a Valkyrie Priest. Faerie Ninja has been mentioned by a couple people.

Now that the search function is back, you may want to try looking for older messages on that topic. There's been a few discussions on going solo and what character is "best" for the job. Those may answer your question.
