First off, I'd like to say that I finally beat the game!!!!!!!!!! It was very fun with a nice twist. But i accidently helped Bela so the Umpani never showed up.
If anyone feels like it, I saw a pic on the wiz8 site, on screenshots. Screenshot 43 i think. It shows the party on some bridges of the umpani base. Could anyone explain how you get up there and what is it? Thanx P.S. Do you guys know any places where i can find Umpani Concept art? |

That's one of (many) scenes on the website that aren't in the game as it was released. I hope someone gets around to releasing a complete version of the game...
I like screenshot 47.

i know that several of the designers have websites with the stuff they did in wiz8 on display. like the guy that designed the elementals and other monsters has them in wireframe, concept sketches and fullon 3D.
now, if i can just remember his name.  it's hell when your harddrive dies with several years worth of info on it. i'll do some research and post back. V***V

Neither the Umpani nor the T'Rang ever show up at Ascension Peak. I think this is one of the several "pieces" they didn't have time to implement.
As for concept art, you may want to try asking on the official wiz boards. Sorry, don't have the url handy, but someone else may know. |
