Just came back from viewing The Recruit in the theatres - it's a thumbs up from Sir Krustin. More twists than a politicians alibi, and solid acting to boot. Pacino does a great job, as always.

Sounds good.

I've seen the ad, looks very cool, especially the three laser sights on that guy! I'm going to go see it next week (when it comes out..)

Oh yeah, this film is good on soooo many levels. Just when you think you've got it figured out they throw you a curve. Really well done. I can't really post any details, it would ruin the movie for you but right up until the end of the movie I was pretty sure I knew where it was going and they surprised me! Nice ending too...

Well spoilers really would ruin the movie. For example, there's a question whether or not Pacino's character is the father of the protaganist. (It was the first thing than ran through my mind when they started talking about the fathers death)

Also, the real underlying loyalties of all the main characters are a pivotal source of tension all the way through the movie.

I will say that I have the same criticisms of this movie as I had for Swordfish - the computer stuff is just lame for anybody familiar with computer security - I mean, the hacker just shells out at a login prompt and writes a password cracking program on the fly to be executed in the shell. An Spartacus is just plain stupid. Ice-9 is a cool idea, but would never ever work.
