Hi All:
Is Madras worth recruiting? I have already stolen his Omnigun? I can not let Myles go so I would have to part with Vi theValkyrie & she has some high stats. What race/profession is Madras? Thanks |

Hello
I guess he is alright. He is a gadgeteer, therefore he has an omnigun. His skills are almost as good as it would be if you played a gadgeteer from the beginning.

Madras is a gadgeteer [thus, the omnigun], though not a highly advanced one, he earns his keep after a while: there are so many good gadge items its nice to be able to use more than one per round. He has 10 scouting, so is always the first to spot something [unless you have a ranger], but you still need to use the search buton.
Madras is my personal favorite, not because he does the most damage [that would be RFS], but because I enjoy his comments. INFINETLY better than Myles the whiner. Actually, though, all NPCs are exp. point parasites: The more you have, the slower you level, the slower you level, the weaker you are. Will never use an NPC again, nor will I ever play a 6 man party: they just advance much too slowly. Oru |
