Imperial quest: bust the smuggler

First quest you are assigned by the ald ruhn Imperial legion is to enter the house of one of the town folks, and fetch any dwemmer artifacts found there...

Alas, there are none [though come to think of it, I didn't try to pick his pocket]. Some one at the Rat in the Pot confirms he's a smuggler, but there doesn't seem to be any evidence, and that's what the legion is looking for.

Ticking me off... besides, several times you are told that 'no one ever gets arrested for smuggling dwemmer artifacts', so the whole thing rather stinks.

What does it take to successfully complete this mission, or is it better just to skip it?

Assuming you have the correct houes, there is an artifact in there, your just not looking hard enough.

If your standing at the entrence, looking in it's on a table in the back-left part of the building, hidden very well. You have to get in the right position in order to see it (try standing on the table) and looking down at the table. Its a small tube and can be easy to miss if you don't know what your looking for.
