To enter the hidden dungion in the Cemetery S. of Arnika, you're supposed to touch all the runes on the headstones, then "insert" a dagger into the base of the SW pillar. Well, I click on a dagger in my INV so it's riding on the cursor, then I point at the corner at the base of the pillar, and click on it. The dagger drops to the ground. Is this what's supposed to happen? I'm assuming that it isn't. Am I missing something?

First, make sure you're in the right place. If you put the cursor by itself on the corner, does it change to a hand? If not, you're standing in the wrong location. You should be at the SW corner of the wall that encloses the mausoleum with the hanging corpse.

Second, from other messages on the board, I gather you have to touch the headstones and use the dagger at the same time. If you just touch all the stones, then crossa boundary and come back later, it may not work right.

Third, be sure you touched all six headstones. I had trouble the first time myself because I miscounted - hit only five instead of six.

Finally, make sure you're using a plain, ordinary dagger. Nothing else works: no throwing daggers, poison dagger, etc.

I think I know what's wrong, now.

When I did the headstone thing, I had no idea I needed a plain dagger, and didn't have one in my INV. However, I don't recall the cursor turning into a hand at all. I had to leave, and come back later with the correct type of dagger. So, it looks like that easter egg will be unavailable to me.

I'm sure I've tried the SW corner pillar; I've tried them all.

I know I've touched all 6 runes; counted them too many times. The runes are set as touched, that is, no hand appears when I drag the cursor across them.

Thanx for the help!

Lat, did you see the light appear when you touched all rune stones? If not, you haven't done them all. The light appears to the back left when facing the opening of the crypt. The dagger when inserted sticks out in an obvious manner, I think the light goes away after that. The mushroom circle appears outside of the the cemetary to the right and back near the hills when facing the opening of the crypt. The only other thing I can think of is you don't have a plain dagger if the light appears and the dagger doesn't work. The dungeon is worth it but not great. Come to think of it, you have to be REAL CLOSE to that corner to have the hand appear to place the dagger.

Well, if you can't get into this one, there are still two others ahead that you can try. Just to save you problems in the future, I'll tell you that one dungeon requires an ordinary short staff, and the other an ordinary longsword. Collect those now, so you'll be ready when you get to the other easter eggs.

I left the cemetery and came back a while later, and it worked ok for me..I did have trouble with that too, you just have to be real close to it and stick it right in the side.

I had problems with this too....I had clicked the 5 of the 6 runes. Later I found out that there was more too this (dungeon entrance/dagger thing) so I went back and clicked the last rune and put the dagger into the column. The dagger disappeared and the mushroom ring never appeared.....I was unable to get into this dungeon.

I had read further and managed to get the runes to work in the northern wilderness. I had a longsword and did the other wilderness...outside of rapax rift. When I got to the circle and tried to click on the runes around the stone....it just said nothing happens. No blue runes...nothing. I had never been to this rune circle either.....so there may be a level limit, Im not sure. I had never made it here until I was like 18-20 or something close to this.

The rune circle in the mountain wilderness is special. Unlike the others, this bunch has to be touched in a certain order. So you try them all until one lights up, then go on and do it again until you've got them all on. Now the sword will work on the stone.

Thanks Night...I will try that.....I was disappointed with not being able to enter the first one....I had fun in the second one and got really disappointed when the third wasn't working as I had expected.

The third is the best one, though the fight at the end can be pretty vicious. Good luck!
