Started a party with among other things a ranger and a monk, only to get the instakills, they are both level 12-13'ish. The ranger is starting to get the long waited for instakills. Especially after I got Eagle eye. But the monk. tsk. Big disapointment. Maxed out on speed, close to 90 on both senses and dexterity. Skill points goes to stealth, critical strike and martial arts. And sometimes a point or two in close combat. Still a very low number of insta kills, maybe a handfull so far, the ranger get one or two in every major battle. What am I doing wrong? Need to raise int maybe? Or get Eagle Eye (thuht that one was only for ranged)? Or will it improve?

I actually found my monk also not doing much criticals. But I have a sling with some nice stones that do the job

But the monk get a lot of attacks, so building up the strength should greatly improve the damage rate. For close comabt use more Ninja or Samurai for criticals. I got better rate with them.

Does the samurai have the critical hit/insta kill ability? Will start pumping up strength for more damage I guess.

Was never happy myself with the performance of monks and instakills; haven't used tehm since very early on. Except RFS, who eventually does very well.

Yes, Samurai do have the critical hit skill.

Yes they do. I find Ninjas and Samurais do much in terms of Instakill then the Monk. Samurai does better perform in instakill then Ninjas at low level sense.
