where in BG 1 do you find the ring of wizardry???
and how do you get the cheat to work about the gems in your quick items spot [img]graemlins/finger.gif[/img] i cant find it!!!

Its a while since I've tried this one, so give it a shot:
put in your quick item slots potions. Doesn`t matter which ones. Click back to main screen. Go back to your inventory, replace potion on the right hand end (i think its right, maybe left) with a gem/jewel and go back to your main screen. You will see that it still looks like a potion. Click on it multiple times, switch back to your inventory screen and you should have a few more gems.

also there's one more ring of wizardy in baldurs gate. You have to pickpocket.. and about the ring in Friendly Arm, if you installed any patches the ring is no longer there..

I installed BG *AND* TOSC before I started my current game. And lo! & behold! the Wiz ring was at the secret location just outside the FAI...

From what I know it is the bg patch that removes it. But TOTSC and DSOTSC put it back in

The Ring of Wizardry in Baldur's Gate is in the lower left-hand map sector (Flaming Fist area). It's in the bottom left-hand house and you can get it by killing the mage and his two fighter companions that appear when the wizard first turns hostile.

Some patches have it, others don`t. Depends what version of the patch you have.
