I can summarize this post in one word: HELP!
I'm in Chapter 6. In the spirit of Tactics, I have tried lots of them (tactics, that is). None have worked, primarily because Bodhi is immune to just about everything (including all anti-undead magic - what the???), while most of her "abilities" go right through my protections. The closest I have come to beating her is to attempt to nuke her outside my field of vision with two firestorms, while a veritable army of hasted, etc. Mordy's swords pounded on her (I can't send in other summons while the firestorms are on). I got half-way there, but then she saw me and it was all over but the crying. By the way, I have "smarter" mages installed, so I have her two mage friends to deal with as well. I suppose another four firestorms might finish her off, but Viconia has slots for only two. Plus, it's hard to cast firestorm when you're blind and surrounded by Bodhi's version of insect plague. I have yet to see Viccy's drow magic resistance block a single one of Bodhi's attacks. If anyone was going to post an answer which says anything like "pray", forget it - I've tried that, too. tip: run away like a sissy once she arrives, converse and attacks you and survive ten rounds of the battle with her. [img]smile.gif[/img] . She is near impossible to kill in that time. Im serious about the running part!!

What happens after ten rounds? I know the Ch. 3 Bodhi is on a timer, but this is news to me. I didn't think her protections wore off (but I haven't survived ten rounds before).

wait.. are we thinking the same thing here.. i was thinking of chapter 3 where you are asked by the shadow thieves to kill bodhi's lair the first time. thats where you have to survive 10 rounds.

Nope - I should have said - I'm thinking of the Bodhi that doesn't go away (chapter 6). Any thoughts?

havent reached that part yet.. all i can think off is having one of your main tank be cast with negative protection plus your cleric or mage with the amulet of power and smite her. other people may offer more suggestions. try looking at the hints in the tactics folder. good luck!

I doubt this will be much help, but the Mace of Disruption and Azuredge are both supposed to have at least a small chance of killing any undead with one hit. I'm sure you've already tried them and I don't doubt that Weimer may have given her an immunity to those items (or at least to the Instant Kill part).
Some possible things to try. 1. Get Daystar Upgraded (if you have Item Upgrade Mod). It gives you TWO Sunray spells instead of one. Combine that with multiple ranged attacks from Azuredge and you might have a small chance to survive. 2. Cast Lower Resistance and Greater Malison as much as possible (I would recommend at least two doses of each spell - and maybe 3 of the Greater Malison). Then follow this with 1-2 Web spells. Hopefully, you've gotten her Saving Throws down low enough for the Web to actually hold her by then. Then blast her with everything you've got. 3. Use Dire Charm or Domination on the smart mages and use them to attack her. At the very least, she will eliminate two of your potential enemies and then you will be facing her alone. 4. Don't forget other anti-undead spells, like Holy Smite, False Dawn, Bolt of Glory, Sol's Searing Orb, Repulse Undead, Holy Word, and Sunray. All of these are effective against undead and some of them have no Saving Throw. Bodhi may still be largely un-affected, I don't know. I haven't faced the Improved Bodhi yet. I'm just trying to throw out ideas of spells that can be used individually (or in combo attacks) that might help take her down.

Thanks - all efforts to help are much appreciated. Here is where things stand. As far as I can tell, Bodhi is completely immune to MoD, Azuredge (I'm evil, so can't use it anyway), Sunray, False Dawn and all like items/spells. According to Six's review, Bodhi isn't even considered an undead creature for determining what affects her (though she is highly undead for the purpose of determining what she can do - usually without allowing any save). I'll give the domination idea a try, although I don't think you can mind-control a vampire (Viccy's level 21 turning ability is apparently just a joke in this battle). The most promising route seems to be LR/GM - as far as I can tell, I need at least 3 LR doses. I'll try to fire those while she's still being pelted by firestorm, then follow up with flame arrows.
I'll report back for posterity.

I have this battle waiting for me also. I tried it once, failed, and fled. Now I'm doing every other possible activity in Chapter 6 before I return to Improved Bodhi. She seems... difficult. I will not say "impossible without cheese" yet. Did SixOfSpades say it's possible?

Well... this is just theory, but try INT-Draining her using Shapeshift:Mind Flayer in conjunction with Time Stop.
