Hey all,
I'm soloing a Swashbuckler through SoA-ToB, and I'm preparing to fight Improved Bodhi for the first time. Understandably, I'm very nervous on how best to fight her and her minions (the archers that appear with her). I fought her before and lost miserably with a party, so I am wondering on what equipment and tactics can be put to work that can delay Bodhi long enough for time to run out and halt the battle. My Swashbuckler is currently Level 17, has Aelger's Hide +5, is dual-wielding Daystar and Flametongue, has a Ring of Peversation +1 and Ring of Protection +2, Boots of Avoidance, and Belt of Internal Barrier. Well a Shield of Reflection would help don`t you think? If you have HLA`s lure her into traps. Buy a scroll of Protection from Cold...

Oh btw my Swashbuckler is now Level 19 and almost level 20 due to crushing Improved Mae'var using a cheesy tactic to take care of the assassins and doing that Lich in the Docks thing. Was pretty easy with a scroll of Protection from Undead. I am now the proud owner of a Ring of Air Control, the Cloak of Balduran, and a scroll of Time Stop.  The tactic I used in Improved Mae'Var? *Spoiler* . . . . . . . I pickpocketed all of the assassins and Mae'Var of their invisablity potions and lured them into the cages and used their own invisability potions against them. Also a fast way to get that handy Shadow Armor.

Um...you do realise that swashbucklers are thieves, and thieves get one HLA that would allow them to use the shield of reflection...find some easy quests and get to level 23 or 24, whenever you start getting HLAs, then use the Shield of Reflection...

Watcher's keep level one is quite easy, and you can get some good experience, and quite good items. You can also purchase an excellent short sword and a good crossbow from there as well. I had two +4 weapons and a +3 weapon 1 day 8 hours into my swashie game.
