Level 46 but can't get spellbooks from Ferro

I was level 45 before my team did Rapax area. I changed classes often with everyone on team. I entered Ferro's both before and after I became a Templar with my team around lvl 5-6 in new professions except my bishop who was not changed and remained level 28 bishop when entering. I find he has NO SPELL BOOKS
no matter how many times I clean out his inventory and TPT to another area and wait a few days or even walk out of the area when I get back still no spell books for sale. Also this glitch seems to effect Crock and Sardok etc. Where early on in the game I could get up to Lvl 4 spells from these guys even if I clean out their inventory exit the area and return I can't get anything higher than Lvl 2 spells. What gives? especially at FERRO's?

I have a feeling you're out of luck. I noticed the same thing with my very high-level teams: neither Crock nor Ferro would offer any spellbooks. At best, Crock had low-level stuff like Corrosion and Detection, while Ferro showed nothing at all. This came as quite a surprise to me, since the low level teams always saw the books (low relative to the high-level groups).

This is probably a bug caused by poor programming, and I don't think there's anything to be done about it now.

I'm getting that prob with Croc at level 9 through 12.
Keep going back and he hasnt had a single spell book.
I have Bishop, Ninja and Samurai. I have trained the Bishop so that its not a case that she is too low a level to use the spell books.

Annoying! I rarely play a Bishop and the one time I do there seem to be no spell books, yet every other game Croc has loads of them!

have you tried adding some low level RPCs and see if that helps any (by bringing the average party level down)

That would make things worse. For Crock, everyone in the party (not just spellcasters) has to be at least level 11 for him to display any of the 4th level spellbooks. I learned that one the hard way a long time ago.

Actually, your party average (i know cos i had a dead L1 char for a couple parties) has to be 11 for Crock, and 15 for the "good" stuff at Ferro. Then they turn themselves off again. I'm not sure when, but the earliest i know for Ferro is 36 and i have no idea for Crock, cos i've never been there that old.

Have been to Crock with L30 parties and he doesn't show the books. That surprised me no end. Did visit Ferro with an L50 bunch and he had no books, either. On the other hand, he was showing stuff like the snakeskin boots, golden breastplate, etc. Seems to be affecting only the magic.
