Default Hmm Router power light was cycling (wasn't working) why we were down.. ?

Anyone know why the Linksys Router's power light was cycling? (Blinking) and wasn't kicking through to working? I unplugged it and plugged it back in, and it cycled fine... odd..
Maybe a power hiccup? (It IS behind a heavy-duty surge and UPS protector.)

I dunno,
I was out since about 4:30pm.

My wife's PC won't connect at all and I just got off the phone with my service provider (Aliant). I'm just running another Adware scan now to see if that's the problem.
Her PC is over 9 years old, so it may even be that.

No specific reasons... sometimes I've found they just go wonky and need a good reboot.

Used to happen to me regularly prior to switching it to the battery side of my ups. we have constant power fluctuations in our area, especially in the summer (appartments/condos, highs in the 90's feeling like 100's, poorly insulated walls,= recipe for power spikes and drops).
