How are Faerun, Dragonlance, Greyhawk, Eberron interrelated? Are they different planets in the FR universe? Different planes? Could a person get from the world of Greyhawk to Abir-Toril? How? Travel the planes? Just wondering.

I don't think thay are related as such. But I think traveling the planes would work or even better a Planer Sphear. Just make sure your supply of demon hearts are up to snuff.

As far as I know, the forgotten realms and Krynn (Dragonlance) have never been related, cept those few times where Dragonlance themes have been used in D&D, or the solamnic knights in BG II.
Though I could be wrong. |

There is a trilogy that combines Forgotten Realms with Dragonlance. It's the Lost Gods trilogy. Book One is called Finder's Bane, set in FR. The second of which I do not own is called Fistandantilus Reborn and is set in Krynn of the Dragonlance world. It features a "kender" named Emilo Haversack. In the third book, Tymora's Luck, we're back in Toril (sort of...a lot of the book takes place in Sigil and other areas of the realm where its not on actual territory where mortals are usually found). Emilio H. is pulled here by divinity to help our FR heroes on their quest. The kender is mistaken for a halfling in conversations of the third book.
Lolth the Spider Queen started out in the Greyhawk setting then got adopted by FR and Dragonlance as a universal goddess of the drow no matter what setting your in. I am led to believe that at least some of the other gods, at least elven, also make cross references in the other worlds because of E. Cunningham's Evermeet, History of the Elves. That is where we see Lolth before she was the Spider Queen. I hope this helps. With special care, the writers will sometimes bring the universe of settings together and share between them.

The first four are wholly unrelated planets in different solar systems, in the same universe. Eberron I don't know about. There was something called Spelljamming which allowed interplanetary travel. Within the same solar system and outside it.
You could travel from one campaign to another by spelljamming or by travelling the planes of existence, particularly the Astral and Ethereal planes. A word used to describe the universe of planets and planes is "multiverse". Core D&D campaigns usually don't seem to have a lot of influence from each other. |

Righteous about those books, I'll check them out, but I'm not so sure Lolth was adopted in Dragonlance, since they have more unconventional dark elves; rather than an actual subrace, they're just outcasts from society.

In the first and second edition of Dragonlance there are no Drow, there is no race or sub-race of evil Elves. What you have is the occasional case of Elves choosing an Evil alignment. Dalamar being an example.

So Dragonlance eventually did adopt the Drow?
That's what I'm confused about. Since, as you said, Dark Elves in Dragonlance are outcasts from elven society, such as Dalamar, or even Porthios and Alhana (Though not for choosing evil) |

It seems that the official Pen and Paper rules for Dragonlance are one thing while the novels are something else. I think the novels are not bound by the offficial rules. Thus there are two Dragonlance worlds, the one found in the official rules and the one found in the novels.

No, what he means is there are no "Drow" elves as we know them in DL. Rather, elves that are evil are almost unheard of in Krynn but when they are discovered they are outcast and labelled "dark elves". It's a symbolic term in DL rather than a physical difference. Their skin isn't dark or anything and they don't live in the underdark. They just do their own dark deeds, never being accepted by the elven society. I think Dalamar is the only truly evil elf, Porthios and Alhana were exiled but wrongly so, because their motives were misunderstood.
