Exclamation DC Design Contest Reminder

Just wanted to remind everyone that we have just about 3 weeks left before I and the other judges starting playing your submitted designs and deciding which one will be the default Dungeon Craft module.

For more information, including rules, please see the original thread.

Awww crap. Thats right. This is coming up soon... gotta actually put something together outta the pieces of notes, scrap, ideas, methodologies (ideas), and hyothesis (more ideas) that I've got laying around in various folders on my computer and random pieces of paper strewn about... Gotta get organized. Gotta get time. 'Specially now with over time approved for work and I can't pass up a chance to make the extra $$. Gotta drink more caffiene (mu-ha-ha)

Seriously, I hope to get *SOMETHING* put together for this... it'd be a shame not to.

It would be a shame, I've been looking forward to seeing what you have to offer.

Gulp! 3 weeks, huh? Er... That's not a lot of time... Plus, the logic event has always befuddled me! What is that thing for?

Things to do to finish SOME kind of design by then:

1. Make walls
2. Make doors
3. Make overlays
4. Make story of some sort
5. Learn what the logic event does!

If you read the help section on the Logic Block event, and the help section on ASLs, you will be in a good place with regards to ASLs. I also have the two tutorials at my site that are devoted to Logic Block.

Nothing like an impending deadline...

Cool, muahahaha, the knowledge is mineeeee!!! (Note: the second Logic Block tutorial's link is wrong, it should be in the tutorial directory...)

Now if only I knew what most of the UPPER boxes did... But oh well, it looks so complicated

D'oh! Thanks. It's fixed now.

The help section explains the boxes well enough to allow some experimentation.

Yeah, at least now I know sort of what the boxes do... (Not sure how you ever found the variables required for icon-switching and wall-switching, though!)

Someday, I'll tell you how I did it, but for now, it's best if I remain mysterious. (he, he, he)
