Ironworks Forum EFU's Christmas is late! [Christmas Update is NOW ONLINE! Go get your Present!]

Since the server issues, I didn't get done what I wanted to--the Christmas goodies for you all--presents.
SO, I'm adding the update in a few hours, and you can soon open some good old presents!

For the long time players, it'll be much the same, but with more items to randomly get!

Nice to see the Forum up again. Appreciate the effort that's gone into that.

Happy New Year to Z, Choc and all players I haven't met already.

Presents. Can't get enough of them.

I got some new armour; looks like a smithing-apron, v. cool. Will have to build a blacksmith just to wear it. Wonder if there's a matching hammer in there somewhere...?

the holiday greeter is gone... does that mean that there will be no more presents to be had?

something I would love to see - the Coat Of Protection Armor revised.
(on female characters, this armor just looks awesome. there's no better word for it.)

original -

Coat Of Protection +7
- base armor class 0
- arcane spell failure 15%
- armor bonus +7 (AC modifier)
- damage reduction +6 Soak 20 Damage
- enhancement bonus Dexterity +4
- light Bright (20m) Orange

now... what I would really love to see is

Coat Of Protection Revisited
- base armor class 0
- arcane spell failure 30%
- armor bonus +10 (AC bonus)
- damage reduction +10 Soak 30
- immunity: knockdown
- immunity: death magic
- damage reduction Fire -/10
- damage reduction Slashing -/10
- damage reduction Piercing -/10
- damage reduction Cold -/10

And yes, this would be something we would have to fight a key boss character to get. More than likely a new character found somewhere on Level Six waging war against the accursed Xanather... maybe an agent of the Savant Of The Dark Tide?

Drats! I missed Christmas goodies again!

Guessing there still aren't any Pink Bunny Slippers?

Nope, I looked for those and just couldn't find them, although I opened every box under the tree, very sad.
