Cats dont really like me. It all stems from this time when I was little and was petting this stray black cat in my yard. It was being all nice and figure-eighting my legs, using them as a back rub post and then for no reason what-so-ever, decided to go ape-sh*t and tear me to bits; Biting and clawing mercilessly.

All I can think about now is a glow in the dark cat doing the same thing to me. I can see it now, im all cuddled up beneath the covers and this 4 legged neon alien comes stalking into my room to finish me off.

A black cat once jumped up and started clawing my face when I was five and I did not even do anything to it. I was just standing there. But I love cats this one just had mental problems.

Some cats can't deal with too much touching... you pet them and they like it for a while but then they get over stimulated and attack you.

Our 14 year old Siamese has never been like that - he'll soak up as much love as you're willing to give him, but we've got a 9 year old female tabby that can't deal with too much petting, she gets more and more agitated and eventually gets mad if you don't stop.

Then just to show that there's all kinds of cats out there... we recently rescued a Saimese from the SPCA. He's 9, was owned by an elderly woman who'd died and had spent 9 months in a cage at the pound because he was so anti-social. We got him home and let him acclimate - and even now it's almost like he's scared of being touched... but then once you actually start petting him he LOVES it and won't leave you alone, so he's basically the opposite of our tabby. Weird critters!

Our cat used to hate strangers and men. No idea why, but she hated all men except for my dad. She liked being stroked. She did scratch and bite me a bit when I was playing with her, but it didn't hurt.
She didn't glow though.
