Need help w/ gear

Yep.. I'm really desperate. Just came back to WoW today and need help gearing.

Anyways for Burnzey, my uber crap geared warrior with whom i was bging with today, realised that warriors are absolutely useless with blues, and i need help gearing up.

My guild isn't very helpful with this, but it's the only guild where i can babble crap 24/7 and no body will notice Probably why i don't get as much help when i really need it. My guild atm is more of a "We talk about random crap most of the time, but if we have enough 70's we'll do Kara" (no its not a raiding guild.)

Does anyone here know where i can get started to get gear that will at least make me more of a threat than an HK to get started off? I'm wondering whether or not to do instances or just farm AV continously.

Just go bging, Blizzard is giving free S1 epics to the masses. Should be easy if your character is a horde.

Are these the so-called "welfare epics"? I thought they were only for Arena? Link? I want to see if I can get some decent rogue welfare epics.

Yeah, it's Season 1 arena gear that are now available for honor points. You can check them out at Champion Halls in Stormwind.

Weren't those always available for HPs though Kak? Or did you need something else as well?

As an armmaster warrior, you won't get many chances to be invited into an instance group (except a guild run). Your best choice would be to pvp for those welfare epics. Since you are a horde, it should be easy for you to rake up those honor points.

Think about this, even if you are invited into an instance, the item that you want might not drop, you can go for 10 or 20 times into an instance but the item just would not drop.

Pvp is different, the item that you want is there in front of your eyes. All you need to do is to grind up the honor points/marks and walla! the item is yours to take.

Right, these are S1 arena now fallen down into the honor system and purchasable with HK+tokens. Although the sets are visual recycles -blizz has developed a bad habit of doing this (you'd think the few million subscriptions they have would be enough to pay art departments), they aren't gonna be an upgrade for most PvE'rs unless they replace a green, if even that. There is just so much stam and resil. in place of AP and agi for example, that these sets seal their own fate as pvp exclusive. The weapons are a different story (most of them anyways) and can be worth getting. I myself have my honor capped out, and nothing to buy : /
