B.M.U., B.M.R. (pantaloon question) Possible spoiler!!!!

Hello,

I have restarted BG2 and am kinda going thru it with a "ultamite group" this time. I was just wondering if there is a way to get the Big Metal Unit or the Big Metal Rod (and ammo) without doing the entire pantaloon quests...say like a CreateItem code. I know how to do the quest for them I was just curious if I can get them "a little easier"!

Hello,

They didn't have it there, but it gave me an idea and I found the code. Secret01 is the BMR and secret05 in the BMU...the ammo is all the codes in between.

Could someone post a link to the quest for these? I played the game through a lot and have no recollection of such a quest.

It's not weird why you havent seen the quest, because it isnt really a quest.

First of all, you must have both BG1, BG2 and ToB. In each of these games, you'll find components to the Big Metal Unit and Rod, namely the Golden Pantaloons, the Silver Pantaloons and the Bronze Pantalettes. These can be used to make the BMU and BMR.

Note: You can create (cheat) Golden ones without having BG1.

What exactly are the stats on these? I'm guessing the big metal rod would be a wand or a staff? lol

WOW armor class negative 10 and a golem look! I think I'll go back through baldurs gate 1 to do this without cheating
