Wanted: New Players for Online RPG/Stories

I have solicited here before and desire to do so again. We have a gaming forum on IW, but we need new players!

No gaming experience is needed and you do not need to understand D&D rules. We can help you with all of that.

There are only a couple things that you have to be able to do:

1. Be able to keep pace with the other gamers, usually just 1 post each day or every other day. Sometimes people need time off for a week or so, and that is fine. We can work things out around peoples' schedules.

2. Have a desire to write creative posts in story fashion, showing an interest in what you are doing.

Some may not even consider these games as such, and actually call them team-operated stories. There is a heavy influence of "story telling", but there are also many opportunities to actually "game", meaning encounters that may lead to battles or adventurous quests.

If you have any desire at all to investigate what is being done in the RP forum, please post here and let us talk about it. We want to encourage more players in the forum and we realize that everybody on this website is already qualified to be a gamer. We would really like to help you get involved in a game here on IW, so give us a chance to share our favorite pasttime with you.

Mmph, I am slightly interested but very wary. My last RPing left a bad taste in my mouth. My wife will not consider it, nor will she let me use her characters. My characters are Lilyblack, a midlevel thief, Hardimour, a midlevel paladin, Arileth, a high level blackguard/paladin, and Ferviente/Ferviere, twin Paladins but with highly disparate personalities.

Well, if anyone is wary about joining the games, they can always be read first, to get a feel for the atmosphere and such.

And besides players, we also need new DM's. A lot of us are always up for a new, fun game.

Oh yes! Let me repeat what Purple said and invite you to bring your own ideas and run your own games as you desire. If you have never tried that before but always wanted to...there is no other place more suited to put your skills to the test!

Alright, I'm really bored right now, and I'm in a creative mood. So I'm thinking about creating a game. It's not certain yet if I'll ever finish completing it, and even if I do, if I'll ever put it into play, but I'll give it a try I guess. I'Ve got a couple ideas already. [img]smile.gif[/img]
