I'm sure that can't be as bad as the fried mars bars we have here - deep fried battered gooey chocolate bars...

But this story reminds me somewhat of those dudes frying ice (literally) in Singapore, Malaysia etc... You get a cup of fried flavoured ice - still not sure how that works.

Anyone...?

I've eaten fried icecream.

They put batter around the icecream which insulates it. Only fries for a little while. Very nice!
