So which Linux should I grab? Fedora from Red Hat? Suse from Novell? I'm not leaning towards another distro because of one of the apps I'm going to run on it... it's officially supported on Red Hat and Suse only.

Inquiring minds want to know...

Suse is an impressive operating system, but unlike most Linux OS's it does come with a price tag....

True, but I think the free version is quite function limited in comparison to the pay version.

Hmmm... I don't know much about that. I know that the free versions don't come with support (other than the open source community support), but I'm not sure whether the products are really different.

I don't really have full server needs... just minor stuff here in the house.
