lol!

You cannot get an apple for your familiar, and no they don't level up. I believe that there are improved familiars in ToB though.

*walks off chuckling*

sorry, not laughing at you... just picturing someone searching through the adventurer's mart looking for an apple!

I like my psuedo, it's sweet, but keep it in my rucksack all the time...I really need that constitution point.

About the apples, if I recall correctly, you might find some in Waukeen Promenade or by the merchant in the Bridge District (look around in chests) or maybe in De Arnise's manor. I am not being much help, but i am quite sure there were apples out there in Amn. Maybe someone else might remember more...

I never found out what they could be used for, but since your familiar is asking 4 apples, you might as well give it a try.

Never found 'any' apples at all... So I'm pretty sure there aren't any in the game.

Ummmm.
I have NEVER found an apple in SoA.
Goodberries can be bought though.
I think this is just familiar-related banter.
Probably for the same reason I do... It gives you some additional hit points and, much like the sword Lilarcor, is fun to talk to on occasion...
