The upside to the game is killing a cow. the rest is cutting down trees so you can burn them. why would you need a skill to cut a tree down. also what do you have agenst pong.

Well hey, it's a classic and all, but compare it to BG2 for example
 And skill is rather important for cutting trees down! I doubt I'd have the technique to swing an axe properly for efficient cutting. Then there's the old chestnut of stopping the tree from falling on you... |

Yes, the graphics of Runescape aren't the best in the world but keep in mind that the engine was created in Java for use in browsers. Considering that, I personally find it pretty impressive.
