How in the nine hells do you start a multiplayer game?I cant connect at all.I have a 56 k modem,and when i click on modems,it says connecting and never connects.Please help.

Okay, first of all. I cant recomend you BG MP at all. Especially with a 56K modem. its slow and it doesnt work ar all (sharing the pause button or giving it to one player). It makes you eat you keyboard ya know. Same 4 IWD.
If I'm not mistaking (havent played 4 a while) you should be able to select a new game and then select MP. Then you select TCP/IP (The rest works like shit in a soda-bottle). enter the IP adress. You'll get into a screen where you can divide the amount of allowed characters for every player. Also, the host will give or forbid you certain options (like pause, conversation, traveling). then you should press on the skulls left of the char. portrait and the game can begin. You'll probarly hold on for 5 mins. Have fun (though I can hardly imagine it). |
