Just because I'm incredibly bored, I decided to make this poll.
Who will get the film on DVD/VHS now in August? And who will wait for the extended version that comes in November?

Dunno, how can you tell ? The DVD box doesn't mention anything about it.

If you already have a copy of the Tow Towers DVD then it is a bootleg. It is not being releases till 8/26.

Personally I'm getting both versions.

Arrow

Sounds suspicious to me johhny. *cough* pirated copy *cough*

In this context, what exactly does bootleg mean? I've heard of the word, but not in these means.

Why? Doesn't the extended version have the same bonus material as the normal version, just with tons more?

I think I'll just be getting the normal version, when it comes out at the end of the year.
2 reasons:
1) I want to see the Two Towers again, right now

2) If I was a woman I'd have Peter Jackson's baby. Baring that I'll just buy all his stuff so he gets stinkin rich off the LOTR movies. This will allow him to make more great movies without studio interference, and also convince the stupid people that run movie studios that people will pay big $$ for intelligent, well written and acted fantasy movies that take themselves seriously. So we will not have to endure more schlock like the Dungeon & Dragons movie of a feew years ago.

Me too in May, a friend brought it over and after I lectured him on the evils piracy we watched it. He conviently left it and then told me to keep it.

The copy I got has "for your consideration" subtitled in at the begining of every scene, weird.

Oh yeah, I'll buy both.
