OK, this one is for all Americans. What will you do with your wonderful rebate from the IRS? Well, at least the fortunate ones who will be getting that check in the mail.

Yes, I received my letter last week. No, I will not be getting a rebate check. Seems that I claimed a child tax credit on my income taxes for last year and I am being penalized by not receiving the rebate check. Oh, and by the way, I believe I sent the IRS a check for over $400 for the year 2000. I guess I just didn't pay the right taxes for President Bush.

Hmmm...well I didn't get a return recently because I haven't had a job. But with the checks I've received in the past I would usually spend it on some pretty inappropriate things that I need not mention here.

One year I did actually spend it on something worthwhile - a night out on the town for my parents anniversary.

In the future I'm sure all those fat checks will be going to pay off college loans (ugh).

We're getting one (although less than our usual tax returns). We'll probably spend it on a car seat and other infant stuff (firstborn due in December).

I won't get one because I haven't had a "real" job since 1993 but Rex qualifies for a couple hundred dollars that he expects to receive, according to the letter he got from the IRS.
Who knows what he'll spend it on though...computer upgrade, games, stuff to continue our landscaping and home beautification projects...I'll have to re-post when he actually gets it, cashes it and spends it.

I received my refund a while back, and I spent some of it on clothing, and the rest I used to pay off some of my credit card.

Well, chances are I'll end up paying it back next year. It's a trick, it's an advance on next year's rebate check (if you get them, I usually don't). Any way, I'll spend it on tickets to Paris this Fall...can't wait!

Im thinking of mailing it back considering the Gov had to BORROW money (19 Billion dollars or something like that) just to pay them out. I guess we know who to thank for that incredibly intelligent foray into further debt(GWB). Ah well that's my Bush...
No really Im buying a Playstation 2 so I can wait patiently for Final Fantasy 10 to Arrive.

I am going to get the brakes fixed on my car, so I am not a hazard on our public roadways

If there is any leftover I will blow it on worthless items
