Johnny Cash was not a god.
A harbinger of the Word of Authentic Music Played With Instruments, yes, but not a god. For the record, I love my techno and rap music and have no issue acknowledging the great works of other genres. After all, he turned a mildly disturbing song (Hurt) into a completely tragic ballad. Without changing a single word, I should add.
