Yay!!! I'm alive. I made it. Anyways yeah, I made it through the very heart of hurricane wilma. House survived without shutters or plywood (poor planning on my parents part and a lot of luck actually) Well, 4 days without power was definately an interesting experience. On the bright side we had about one full bag of charcoal to carry us through the week and some friends lent us their generator from time to time to keep the freezer frozen. Well, Power came back on at 4:11 am today and cable/internet returned at about 8:30ish.
Well, anyways just keep in your thoughts and prayers those who haven't fared as well as I have. Ironworker's, it's good to be back.

Ah, I know the feeling of finally getting power back on after a few days! It's like winning the lottery when it comes back on LOL.
Glad your house survived and you can now get back to normal. |

Wow, good to hear you you made it through ok! There have been so many people put out of their homes by hurricanes and flooding this year, it's awful.

Good to hear you made it through. Did you stay in the house for the storm. Or did you head for higher ground?
