You should probably put "nickname". For a moment I was wondering how you knew about the cut on my stomach.

This has been done to death before...
But is always a fun discussion Jorath Calar is my old Forgotten Realms character in Ad&d 2nd edition. I think next month is 11 years since I created him on paper. He was a ranger and bodyguard of Lady Natalia, a elven sorceress, played by my friends and dm girlfriend. There was also a human fighter, a halfling thief and a halforc fighter/priest (one of the most interesting character I have played with). Anyway, when I played BG for the first time I kind of resurrected Jorath calar, played Ranger with similar stats as the Pnp character (as I remembered them) and used him to play through the whole series... he did become a Ranger/fighter at one point in BG 2 ... and imagine my glee when I met Aerie for the first time... Natalia was back... sort of... |

Maybe B was asking about the cut on your stomach. So how'd it happen?

So I was making this elven ranger character for my first run through BG and I needed a name. Now, that's often a difficult part in character creation but I had the perfect solution. Get random book, take random page, pick name. Simple enough really.
Joining IW some time later to post on the BG forum, what better name could I pick than that of my first BG character? It's since been abbreviated to the name you see today. |

Random roleplaying name I used to use. I wish I'd chosen Dextrous though, as that's what I use for everywhere else, ie. 1337 effpeeyess sho_07erz!
