I need to find information on what makes adolescents' (young adults; mainly those of ages 15-17) way of thinking differ from that of adults.

Wikipedia.org gives good information on how they generally think - higher probability of drug and alcohol use, mental issues and emotional instability. But what I want to know is why. Facts, surveys, charts, psychological theories and such would aid me greatly. More specifically, I need info on the gullibility and naivete of young adults, to generalize once again.

Thanks in advance.

If the human psychology were so simple that we could truly understand it, we would be so simple that we couldn't.

Yes, on both accounts.

However, I did as you said and whaddaya know, I got closer to finding what I was searching for, so thanks. After a while of skimming through pages, I reached to the conclusion that "Adolescent brain" is what I should type into the search box. I'm starting to find articles that prove that young adults are more thickheaded than mature adults are.
