I was thinking the other day about how weird dreams can be. I mean, do people that were born blind dream? If so, what? Do colorblind people dream in the way we see the world (not color blind) or the way they do? Why do dreams seem so real when we wake up? I had a dream once where I could breath water, and for a couple hours after that, I still thought that I was actually breathing underwater just fine. In fact, the next time we went to a pool, I almost did it, but I fortunately snapped back into reality. Anyone know why this is?

Why not go down the blind institute and ask some blindies what they dream about

Why is it that we often dream and remember about actions we take in third person, when our only experience of life is through first person interaction?

Hmm... maybe I'll do that tommorrow.

That's another good question. Maybe because we watch other people and it's like we're just watching them?

I wonder what people in the middle ages dreamt about. In fact, I wonder where/when dreaming began.

Dreaming would have happened since man could think, mainly because Dreaming is just a means of keeping your brain active Or so im told...

Secondly, If a person is born blind you probably cant ask them what they dream about, as they probably couldnt explain it in a way that we would understand, well I wouldnt think so, and if a person has become blind over time then I suppose they would dream like everyone else as they have experianced things just like we have...

I once dreamed that I was eating muffins filled with gunpowder. That tastes really awful. And no, I've never tasted gunpowder. But it still tasted awful. And now you reminded me of it. Thank you very much.

Here's a tip...when you're dreaming you're on the toilet urinating, try to snap out of it as fast as you can.

... in each case, snap out of it before you start thinking it's getting warmer by the second
