Woah!! this is possibly great news!

"Microsoft Corp. today announced that Hironobu Sakaguchi, video game legend and president of Mistwalker game studio, has joined with Microsoft® Game Studios to develop role-playing game (RPG) video games exclusively for the next-generation Xbox® video game platform. Sakaguchi is best known as the creator of the “Final Fantasy” franchise, which has sold more than 60 million units worldwide, and was executive vice president in charge of game development at Square Enix Co., Ltd. until February 2001."
Shweeet, Microsoft have put alot of quality games, and this combination (hopefully) could not be a bad thing.

(didnt think this really fitted in the misc. games forum)

Word? You type, it appears on screen, you can format the text and it's spell checked (Although the grammer check can be a bit spurious) What more could you want? (Apart from columns formatting which isn't pretty hard to get done).

Oh yea, this is great news! I love the Final Fantasy games. Pure brilliance

and on the plus side, maybe there'll be a Word processor with a final fantasy theme

Easy to find options (ie, less sub-menu depth). Better interface (it has gone downhill completely in the newer versions... makes me nautious to try to use it). Better pricing. Less paperclips thinking I'm writing letters. Better webpage authoring (if it must be in there at all).
In general, everything that makes Open Office so good.

In other words something like LaTeX. I've yet to encoutner a word processor that made it easy to type in an equation.
