After months of studying in uni, visiting Sth Korea and so and so, I just thought to say hello...

Visiting my dad there was a fun experience...if for gifts I received.
A new notebook (my old desktop gets sold or goes to mum for free ), new electric shaver and an MP3.

I also ended up putting 3kgs added to me as well... only because of eye operation (LASIK if you guys heard of it).

So guys, how did you all spend this christmas and new year? Hmm?

Hey, D* been a while since you were around. How'd the Lasik work out for you? I had mine done about five years ago and I'm still happy with it.

Hello D*Ranged! Welcome back to IW!

How long was your surgery? I've heard lots of people have good results with it and it's not painful, is that true?

Yes, do tell! I'm very interested in getting Lasik, myself. Is it difficult to keep your eyes from moving while they do it, and so on? Do your eyes still degenerate, afterwards? (For instance, I continually need more powerful contacts). And, if you're comfortable with saying, how much is the operation, now?

D*Ranged, I'd like to ask a question. I work with a large volume of spreadsheets and as such, contacts just go dry & annoy the crap out of me. Have you pushed your eyes yet by reading any books or doing mundo PC work? How did they hold up? (AOK or I needed Visine drops every 15 minutes?) How's driving at night?

Well...to answer your Q's...mine haven't degenerated yet (2 weeks and 3 days so far...).

It seems that, though, that computer screens blur a bit in dark. Book is fine but right now I'd rather look after my eyes for a while.
