Well I picked one up for $280 (AUD inc GST).

They will usually be around the price of a Playstation 2 and in the sales at the moment you should be able to get one for a good price.

On the contrary of Vaskez, I think Xbox's are one of the best things you can spend your money on, as I just baought one msyelf and I am Extremely happy with it. Anyways, in the US the average xbox new will cost 150$, used 120$ and refurbished 130$. I suggest getting refurbished and if you buy it at EB games you can get a refurbed Xbox and KOTOR (knights of the old republic, one of the best games for xbox) for 130$.

Lucky you! We people in the states as Seinfeld already said is 150 dollars for a new xbox and even cheaper for used. Though I strongly suggest you get the new one. Those heretics who gave away their holy relic may have tampered with it and have descrated it with their unholy hands. Getting a new one untouched is perfect in beginning to have your spiritual relationship with it. Trust me it will be worth it. Examine some of these games some of the lesser gods have bestowed upon us. Bungie our savior! The Holy Builder created the representation of the holy relic with a mystical work called: Halo
Not to mention another great Holy Builder Bioware! They bestowed upon us Knights of the Old Republic and soon to be Jade Empire! Ubisoft with the Splinter Cell games! Splinter Cell maybe on pagan items such as a gaymecube and playstation 2, but they do not equal the quality of that on the XBOX. And the lesser god Ubisoft is known to be overly generous, especially to the lest fortunate.

Get an XBOX and I will be one of the first to welcome you to the XBOX NATION!
