Sola-mod Tor Gal

Hello all. I´m new so I keep this short.

Any ideas how to slay all the stuff it´s throwing on me? My party is quite in-experienced and cannot summon anything but 2 skeletons Is there any way to divide the fight? It´s way too bad if it all comes at the same time.

I´m familiar with the game. Just trying to eat a bigger piece when playing it second time with sola-mod installed. Thanks.

Only two skeletons? It sure ain't going to be easy. I played on Insane Difficulty, and even with the help of two Fire Elementals, one Aerial Servant and two Mountain Bears, it took some considerable reloads before I finally conquered Torgal and his motley crew with my party of 5( Cavalier, Aerie, Jaheira, Viconia and Mazzy).

I casted Bless, Chant, some Chaotic Commands, Resist Fire/Cold, etc... on the party.

I used Insect Plague to disrupt the Yuan-Ti Mages and the Spirit Trolls. Torgal meanwhile, was distracted by some of my hasted summons( very important to Haste your summons). Free Action was also casted on all who did not have Free Action( Mazzy had the Arbane's Short Sword) to prevent the very undesirable stun.

I did not engage Torgal until the rest of his party lay dead. This is because Torgal has a very nasty ability to drain your STR which can severely reduce the target's combat ability.

Good luck and have fun, but I recommend leveling up some more before you tackle Torgal. Have you done the Tradesmeets quest yet?

If u r a Monk, try lure TorGal in all by himself and instantly use Quivering Palm on him(I killed him on the first blow). As for the rest of the trolls, use the same method...(I know it's cheap, but...)

Alas, you cannot lure them out one by one. The Sola mod has improved their AI. When you attract the attention of one of them, they ALL come.

There are 2 Spirit Trolls( who can cast spells like Greater Command, Flame Strike, etc...), 2 Yuan-Ti Mages, 2 Giant Trolls, 2 Umber Hulks and Torgal himself. This is not an easy fight for low-level parties.

As time passes by, Weimer improves the codes in the Sola mod( if not him, then others). This of course leads to newer versions with less bugs and better scripts. You do not need to reinstall the entire game, just reinstall the latest version of the Sola mod.
