Home Security Systems in my area???

I have ADT, and have been with them since they ran a promotional deal four years ago to install free. I am currently paying them $32.28/month.

I have heard lately that the top name brand systems charge more than the system should, and so I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions.

The best security system I've ever heard about is a couple of geese. Only cost goose food.

I am using AAA, very similar to ADT as well, I have had only good results with them. You have to watch though one company STEALTH had there customer payments going through a credit agency so if you cancelled your service the bills would keep coming, and people started to complain as they were not getting there money back as the credit agency would not refund it. Very important to find out about the company and the way payment works. Don't go for anything were payments are going through a credit agency, as it is another level of bureaucracy and more hassle. STEALTH is now being forced out of business due to bad business practices.
