people talk about getting the d'arnise keep and a temple as a "stronghold". exactly what does this mean???

A stronghold is a place your character can claim as their own, like their own castle in a way [img]smile.gif[/img]
The strongholds are: Cleric- Temple of your god. Fighter/Warrior- De'Arnase Keep Mage/Sorcerer- Planar Sphere Bard- Five Flagons Playhouse Thief- Mae'Var`s Guildhall Druid- Druid Grove Paladin- A room in the High Hall of the Raidant Heart I think that`s all  Oh, and only the protaginist may have a stronghold. |

You missed out one: [img]tongue.gif[/img] Ranger - cabin in the Umar Hills Most strongholds also have additional quests associated with it, and give extra $ and/or exp pts.

I see. so in my case, as a ranger, i get merella's cabin in the umar hills. well, at least its not a crap hole like the arnise keep.

Don't forget you could choose to be a Cleric without specializing in any particular faith. So it's also alignment based for clerics.
